I would like to mark this chronology in my mind forever!
3rd
Zulhijjah 1433H / 19th October 2012
} Official&
technically hajj visa approval closing date is 1 Zulhijjah every year (for all
pilgrims around the world)
} We
were somehow “pasrah” (and slightly disappointed) that we thought that we were
yet to be the guests of Allah that year. And yet, we reserve some hope that
Allah will call us. I have determined in my heart that, “I will only give up
supplicating to Allah if tomorrow is already yaumut- tarwiyah and I am still
stranded in Malaysia”
} Somehow,
bi-iznillah, out of the blue.. our visas were approved on 3rd Zulhijjah
(on my birthday this year! – my best birthday present ever!)
4th- 6th
Zulhijjah 1433H / 20th – 22nd October 2012

} Waiting
time again! We are yet to receive the hardcopy of the visa together with our
passport to from Saudi embassy
} Waiting
for flight confirmation – technically, no flight is allowed to be landed after
5th Zulhijjah every year. Our agency asked us to make a lot of du’a
the flight arrangement and landing approval at King Abdul Aziz airport is still
in midst of endorsement process
} In
our hearts, we have gained confidence that we are going to go! But still
clouded by a lot of worries..
} At
5.30 a.m of 21st October 2012, we got a message from Ustaz Abdul
Halim (our agency manager cum mutawif) who was already in Mekah, confirming our
flight to be on the 23rd October 2012, 12.00 p.m.
} Making
a lot of du’a (sungguh-sungguh, tak pernah doa sungguh gini rasanya).. “O
Allah, please accept us as your special guest, delight us with your utmost
special treatment. make our hearts content. And if you endow us with trials,
make our hearts firm with faith and full of patience. Grant us hajj mabrur”
} There
are 3 flights on the day we departed
} 12.00
p.m – Me & Hubby, Khoushaini (AMT6) and his wife, Kak Zalina ex OPI were on
this flight as well)
} 3.00
p.m - Mat Shah ex SCMD was on this flight
} 6.00
p.m – sad story, they missed wukuf in Arafah (hence their arrival in Mekah
& Madinah merely for umrah & ziarah). Verily, we start to understand
the meaning of going to hajj is by Allah’s quota and by Allah’s invitation

There were no other people in the aiport,
kitorang aje! It was like a grand arrival ;-)

No baggage & luggage screening at all

Usually all matters in airport by Customs /
Emigratio& United Agency Office take up to 12-24 hours, we had only 4 hours

a.m – Arrive in hotel (Jeddah & Mekah is only about 80 km, however due to
heavy traffic & bas sesat nak cari hotel kitorang (it is a new hotel,
without CF hehe)

a.m – Qiyam & solat subuh with fellow jemaah at hotel (takut nak gi
Masjidil Haram sendiri takut sesat)

a.m – Going to Masjidil Haram for tawaf qudum (selamat datang) dan saie haji

p.m – Lunch, rest & waiting time (for bus to Arafah)

p.m – Bus ride to Arafah
} 11.45
p.m – Arrive in Arafah

| Menjelang zuhur di Arafah (kelihatan para jemaah negara-negara lain berkhemah di jalanan dan di kawasan terbuka di Arafah, mereka lebih tekun dan hebat dalam bermujahadah melakukan haji kerana tiada prasarana yang lengkap dan tersusun seperti jemaah Malaysia |
“The Hajj is Arafat” (HR Tirmidhi & Abu Dawud)
“On no other day does Allah set free as many of His
servants from the Fire as on the day of Arafat. On that day He is face to face
with His Servants and is proud before the angels of the pilgrims and says,
“What is it they want?” (means all supplications will be answered) (HR
Muslim)
Disebutkan dalam hadits qudsi bahwa Allah berfirman
bahwa :“Lihatlah kepada hamba-Ku di Arafah yang lesu dan berdebu.
Mereka datang kesini dari penjuru dunia. Mereka datang memohon rahmat-Ku
sekalipun mereka tidak melihatku. Mereka minta perlindungan dari azab-Ku,
sekalipun mereka tidak melihat Aku”
Ustaz Abdul Halim lead our 4 hours plus from Zuhr to
Maghrib.. doa and munajat session from supplication and invocation from Al
Quran and Sunnah
